There are many types of Fish Bait in Genshin Impact, including:
- Fruit Paste Bait – Use this bait to catch Medakas, Dawncatchers, and Crystalfish
- Redrot Bait – Use this bait to catch Sticklebacks, Bettas, Venomspine Fish, Akai Maou, and Snowstriders
- False Worm Bait – Use this bait to catch Shirakodai and Angelfish
- Fake Fly Bait – Use this bait to catch Koi and Pufferfish
How to get more Fish Bait in Genshin Impact
You can purchase more bait blueprints from the Fishing Associations. You can find these vendors in the major cities in each region. They show up as a fish icon on the map, pretty easy to spot.
But you can also make your own. To make your own Fish Bait in Genshin Impact, you need the formulas unlocked for each variety. Nantuck, the Mondstadt fisherman, sells three formulas for Redrot Bait, False Worm Bait, and Fake Fly Bait. So go to Mondstadt and look for the fishing icon to get the three formulas. You will need to trade three Medaka fish for the three recipes.
