There are many resources in the multiplayer survival game Icarus the player will need throughout their time. The game has a multitude of crafting recipes across multiple tiers that you can research and build. As you expand your bases, you unlock more complex items. Once you get to Tier 3, you will actually need a lot of advanced items, including Epoxy in Icarus.
How to get Epoxy in Icarus
You actually need Epoxy in Icarus for some of the Tier 3 crafting recipes, so it’s very important. The item takes a fair amount of work to get as well, so you’re in for an uphill battle. For example. to make the crafting benches you need to make Bread, you need Epoxy.
Epoxy is made from the following items:
- Sulfur Ore x2
- Tree Sap x4
One of the best ways to get Epoxy is to break it down from wood. You can use the Carpentry Bench to break down Wood into Sticks. Wood can be found from trees, and harvested with your hands. But really, you want to use an Axe to get the most efficient harvesting time. A piece of wood will net you ten sticks. To get tree sap, you need to unlock the Mortar and Pestle research (Requires 4 Silica and 12 Stone). Then, take four sticks and craft them inside the Mortar and Pestle to make Tree Sap.
You can then combine Tree Sap with Sulfur Ore to get Epoxy. You can alternatively use Crushed Bone in place of the Tree Sap to get Epoxy in Icarus.
You can get Sulfur Ore in caves. It has a very distinct color to it, so go cave hunting.
If you would prefer to learn, we have plenty of guides about this game. If you want to get your base set up, build that shelter. There’s some iron and steel you also want to make, as you get later into the game. If you don’t want to mess with that, try out some cheats to make things easier.
