How to get Azurill in Pokémon Sword and Shield’s Isle of Armor

Sword and Shield’s Isle of Armor expansion has launched, bringing a bunch of new content and roster additions to the Switch game. One of the newer additions to the roster is more baby Pokémon. Azurill and Happiny are two such new entries in the dex. While Azumarrill and Blissey’s evolutionary lines are both obtainable in Sword and Shield now, the baby forms of each Pokémon require a special form of breeding to obtain.

Take your Marrill or Azumarrill and your Chansey or Blissey to one of the two Daycare Centers available in Sword and Shield. Give the Water-types a Sea Incense and the Normal-types the Luck Incense. You can get these from the Incense seller in Hulbury.

This can yield both Azurill and Happiny, depending on which set you place in the Daycare. Azurill in Pokémon Sword and Shield can be spawned

Azurill in Pokémon Sword and Shield can also be potentially found in one other area though.

Brawler’s Cave is a great place for a variety of Gen I and later spawns in Isle of Armor. It’s very easy to get to, as it can be entered from the Soothing Wetlands, Challenge Road, or the Training Lowlands. The best path through the zone when hunting and particular Pokémon is to go in from the Training Lowlands and head into the cave that way. Head through the bottom layer and see what spawns. There’s no guarantee that Azurill in Pokémon Sword and Shield will show up here every time. Although if you spend enough time here, you’re sure to get some very interesting spanws, including Azurill.
