Like many other weapons in Elden Ring, the Rivers of Blood Katana in Elden Ring is a unique drop that takes some work to get. The Rivers of Blood katana is a powerful, late-game katana that uses bleeds to wilt away many enemies. it’s quite useful in the right hands. Getting your hands on it can be a lot of work, so keep reading to figure out where to go.

The zone you need to head to is the Mountaintops of the Giants. Right near the southern edge of the zone, you will find a small church sitting atop a hill. This stone sept is very nondescript, but you’ll know you’re in the right place when an invasion triggers. This place is called the Church of Repose, and is one of many named locations in this zone. Getting to this late-game zone isn’t easy, as you first must journey through Leyndell, having defeated the Omen King. After getting past that boss, you need to use the Grand Lift of Rold to reach the mountaintops. To get to the right area within the mountainous region, you must cross the bridge that sits past the Zamor Ruins as well.

When you reach that church for the first, time, you should be invaded by Bloody Finger Okina. This NPC invader wields the katana you’re after. They are very fast and prone to dodging and leaping attacks, a fast weapon is recommended to take them down. You could also bring a shield or other ability to stun them to get free hits in. Once they are defeated, you will get the weapon as a reward.
