Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands blends a lot of classic RPG mechanics and ideas to the zany character of the Borderlands franchise, and it works really well. Tons of TTRPG and RPG fans are enjoying the heck out of the game right now. But since it has a lot of traditional game mechanics, there’s some confusion and frustration bound to happen. Tina’s new adventure is a pretty notable departure for the franchise, but by all accounts, it’s a good one.
When you’re inside any settlement in the game, you will notice a variety of points of interest that you want to come back to. For example, Brighthoof has various crafting and customization stations to make use of. But when you’re on random adventures and dungeon runs, you can’t always make it back there easily. There is a way to speed up travel between zones in the game. You will want to use fast travel in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands to do this.
How to fast travel in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
When you want to travel around the world of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands quickly, you will want to pay attention. To begin the fast travel process, press the relevant button to bring up the menu. The Touchpad on the PS5 or the View button on the XSX. these will bring up the map system.
From there, open up the map and look for the location you wish to head to. The local area will have fast travel points unlocked as you explore, so be sure to check around. You can now jump between the various points of interest in the local area by using the map. Just use the d-pad to select a destination, then hold X or A depending on your platform to be whisked away. The overworld travel works the same way, letting you jump between settlements and other points of interest.
Keep in mind that fast travel is locked to areas you have explored before. You won’t be able to travel to any areas that you haven’t been to yet.
There are plenty of other things to learn about this game. This game uses emotes to both show-off, and to facilitate communication between players. And with the photo mode in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, they have a bit more utility there as well. And since it’s an RPG, there’s a mountain of loot to manage.
