Bowser’s Fury is surprisingly huge for a Mario game. The game is set in a massive world with tons of collectibles to claim and stuff to find. There’s those annoying hidden Cat Shrines and other junk scattered about, but they’re not easy to find. So while you’re backtracking, you might want to engage with the fast travel system. Can you fast travel in Bowser’s Fury? Here’s what we know about this.
So while you can fast travel in the game, it will take a while to get to it. And to add insult to injury, it’s kind of limited. You will need to get into the deep bowels of the game before you can unlock it. You only get the option to fast travel in Bowser’s Fury The very beginning of the game locks off this feature.
You can only get access to the feature after collecting 50 of the hidden Cat Shrines, as well as completing the main quest. That’s going to take some investment and time if you really want to get into it. You will need to manually play the game through this time, not being able to jump between worlds and the like using fast travel.
Being so limited to completion in most of the game is kind of sucky. You will need to get through the game and do it quickly if you really want to get 100% completion. It’s not an easy task, but there are only so many hours in the day. The journey won’t be easy, but it can be tons of fun. The final boss battle involving the Giga Bell and the power you’ve unlocked is a challenging and compelling experience. So if you really want to enjoy this new game, get to work.
