How to Farm Chroma Prime Relics in Warframe

Chroma Prime is a very powerful and tanky Warframe. It’s a bit of trouble to get the base version though, as you need to combine parts from Saryn, Volt, Ember and Frost and then set up your build properly. Chroma Prime dispenses with all that and just requires cracking Void Relics and offers some nice upgrades. There’s more tankiness from better stats to start, but that’s not all.

Chroma Prime possesses a special passive ability where contact with an Orokin Void Death Orb will make them release an energy pulse that grants 250 Energy to all nearby allies. It can even proc on already destroyed Death Orbs. This makes the combination of Chroma Prime and certain Nekros Prime setups particularly effective for Mod farming in Void missions, due to the presence of Death Orbs. If you want to run Nekros as a non-Despoil variant, Chroma Prime makes that much easier.

Chroma Prime Relics

Farming for the Void Relics for this particular Warframe is easy, as you only need to farm two missions When farming for Prime Relics, you need to know what types of Void Relics to look out for, as well as where to farm them. Here is a breakdown of each Relic type, and what component they drop:

  • Blueprint – Common – Meso B4
  • Chassis – Uncommon – Meso C5/D4
  • Neuroptics – Rare – Lith C4
  • Systems – Rare – Meso C4

Chroma Prime Relic Farming Locations

You can earn various Relic types by doing different activities. Relic drops are somewhat random, with different maps and tilesets on the Star Chart having their own associated drop chances. For the Titania Prime Relics in Warframe, you will want to head to these nodes on the Star Chart:

  • Lith – Hepit in the Void. This Void Capture mission always drops Lith Relics, with Lith C4 now being in the potential options. New players also have a better chance to get the Lith C4 from Olympus on Mars. You will have to deal with the more challenging Disruption mission-type, but it’s opened much sooner in the Star Chart compared to T1 Void.
  • Meso – Ukko, the T3  Void mission is by far the most reliable and quickest mission for farming Meso Relics,

Once you have your Relics, it’s time to crack them to roll for the Blueprints you want. It’s best to run the two Void missions listed above as much as you can. Since it’s a capture mission, a skilled player can knock each run down to 1-2 minutes each. Spend 30 minutes farming each of the two missions and stockpile the relics you have. Crack only enough to get the parts you want and save the rest.

If you want a full guide on cracking Void Relics, we have that handy. Also, this is a great source of Platinum right now as everyone is farming them and trying to sell them, so prices will spike for a short time as there is also increased demand. Remember to save some Relics or Blueprints for when their Platinum prices spike after they are Vaulted.
