The new Halo game has a lot more customization going on as well. The players who like to look pretty have tons of work to do, but it’s very worth it. You can also customize your Spartan in many ways, so try that out.
One of the first things you might want to do while doing that is to change your Spartan ID in Halo Infinite. This ID is how most players can tell who you are, so having one that works for you is a great thing. It’s possible to make many changes, including more than just the colors and images used. This new game is making great effort to give players a truly unique avatar.
How to change your Spartan ID
When you first load into the game, click the Customize option next to Play. This will open up a few options. Now, select Spartan ID at the bottom of the list. This will open up the customization and skinning option in the game. You can actually make a few changes here, Here are the options you can choose from this menu.
- Service Tag: The string of four letters or numbers is the leading part of your ID.
- Voice: The in-game voice of your Spartan.
- Nameplate: The image that appears to the left side of your ID.
- Palette: The color scheme of the image in your nameplate and ID.
- Backdrop: The design that appears behind your Spartan ID.
- Stance: This is the victory pose of your Spartan.
There are a ton of other things to learn as well. And don’t feel bad if you’re a new player, there’s a lot to learn. Be warned though, sometimes people can be mean. If you don’t want to deal with toxic players, try muting them.
