Bitlife Movie Update

The BitLife Movie Star update is here. It comes to us in the form of the Job Actor Pack, a paid upgrade. The new content adds a bunch of new jobs and other features to the game, centering around getting big in Hollywood. With the release of the Movie Star update in BitLife, you’ll have the option to grab the Actor Job Pack or the Boss Mode update. That will unlock the ability to be either a TV star or Movie Actor. This guide will give you some tips to succeed in these new jobs.

When becoming a Movie Star in BitLife, there’s a lot of trouble to handle. When you first become a Movie Actor in BitLife, you will notice a lot of new options under the Job tab. By clicking the Movie Actor role there, you will be able to improve the quality of your performance, earning more reputation and skill. If this is your first role, it’s not too important, but learning how to do well is key to succeeding when you take on bigger roles.

When you actually land a role, you will be able to pick the Movie Actor job in the menu. Doing so will bring up a bunch of options. You can fraternize with the cast to get more relationships, but for the scope of this guide, let’s talk about how to do well in the acting department.

The first thing you need to pay attention to is Script Quality. This reflects the writer’s talent that created the script and how good it is. If you’re eager to find some of the best roles, you need to aim for projects of high quality. The trick is that the higher the quality, the more exacting the requirements for leading and supporting roles will be. The higher Script Quality is, the more the role would have a positive impact on your reputation within the industry. Taking too many low-end roles will harm your chances of getting better gigs in the future. But when you’re first starting out, these can be helpful. The low-budget movies that often have bad scripts are actually perfect for a character with low acting skills. The roles are much easier to get if you are just starting out.

Once you get your first role, you will notice a Reputation meter appear on your stats, this is key to the Movie Star update, as it measures how well you’re doing in the industry. Keeping your reputation high by taking roles with high Script Quality is great for making more money, and building your fame. That’s where you’re going to have to accept some grunt work. There are multiple tiers of roles on a project. And if you’re first starting out, you might only land a Bit Role. Once you get more reputation, you will be able to land Supporting Roles and Leading Roles.

Develop Character is an option found in the Movie Actor Menu that’s very important. Taking this action a few times can help improve the quality of your performance, and thus gain you more rep. There does seem to be an upper limit on how well this can go for you, though. Practice is another similar option that helps you memorize lines and improve as an actor. Taking Acting Lessons can be a huge help as well. These can be found in the Mind & Body menu.

That’s just the start though, as random events can screw with your plans. Every time you age up or take a new role, a few random events will fire. One example we’ve seen is that a co-star is being difficult, and you have the option to run lines with them or try to get them fired. From our testing, it seems best to not cause drama on set. You will generally want to try and work with your co-stars, rather than ruin the production.
