Some developer also like to run events during this time, and that holds true for BitLife developer, CandyWriter. Players have jumped into the game and been greeted with a new challenge. For the next few days, you can claim a special cosmetic in-game by finishing the challenge. Keep reading to figure out what’s happening this week.
Last week, we had a challenge to go mad, but now we’re getting glad. Or more accurately, we’re living a very materialistic life. In a very big departure from the Jekyll & Hyde Challenge in BitLife, we now have the Treat Yourself Challenge in BitLife. Here are all the steps you need to finish.
How to complete the Treat Yourself Challenge in BitLife
Here are the steps you need to polish off to get this one done:
- Purchase a car over $100k
- Purchase jewelry worth over $5k every year over 20+ years
- Adopt 5+ cats
- Adopt 5+ dogs
- Get a mani-pedi every year for 20+ years
This week’s challenge run is a pretty tough one, mostly because you need a ton of in-game cash to do it. Purchasing a car and all of these pets can be pretty expensive. The jewelry is pretty pricey too, since you need a lot of money each year to afford it all. The best way to get this challenge done is to focus on getting a solid financially rewarding career first.
We recommend trying to become a famous actor, and you can have a few million in the bank by the time you hit 30, if you’re lucky. Doing well on the big screen is all about picking the right roles in Bitlife, and we have a guide for how to do well as an actor. Follow the steps outlined there and you should be fine. The basic premise is that you train to be a good actor, while having a high Beauty stat. Once you start scoring high-paying roles, you’re golden and can begin the challenge proper.
Purchasing a car worth more than $100,000 is easy. Just head into the Assets tab, then Go Shopping. Choose the auto dealers and see what they have. As long as you have the money, buy a car worth more than $100,000 and you’re fine.
To adopt 5 each of cats and dogs, you need a big house. Each pet basically needs a room to live comfortably, so you need a mansion with tons of bedrooms. You don’t technically need this to complete the challenge, but it will prevent the cats from fighting and potentially hurting or killing each other. And since you need 10 animals to satisfy the challenge steps, you want to prevent that. Buy the biggest mansion you can afford, it will cost a few million. Do you see now why you need a lot of cash first?
From there, start adopting cats. You should probably be a bit choosy when picking them. Aim for cats and dogs that have low craziness scores, this makes them less prone to fighting and other issues. When you want to adopt, head into the Activities tab and choose the Pets option. Grab the pets that work for you until you have enough.
During this time, it’s also a good idea to start buying the other stuff you need. You need to visit the Assets tab for the jewelry, and it should be listed underneath the autos section. Head there and buy the most pricey option you can afford, as long as it costs over $5,000. Buy one each year, meaning every time you age up. Be sure to go into the Mind & Body menu each year and hit up the Salon & Spa option, then the Nail Salon. Pick the bottom option in the drop down. Keep in mind that you need to do both of these things once a year, for 20 years in a row.
And once that’s done, you’re ready to move on, and have completed this week’s challenge.
