But not only that, but you’re also going to have to move countries and own a ton of luxury vehicles.
How to complete the New Year, New You Challenge in BitLife
- Change your name
- Go on 3+ Cruises
- Go on 10+ First Class Vacations
- Obtain every license
- Emigrate to another country
This challenge is actually kind of expensive. Players will have to do a lot of work to get it done.
Changing Names
Changing names is the easiest part of this, as you just need to go into Activities, and choose the Identity option. Once there, you choose the Name Change selection. You will be presented with a menu to choose your first and last name. You can even select random if you don’t care. You can do this once you reach adulthood. So early in life, focus on making money and getting a good job, as you’re going to need that cash.
Getting Licensed
This means you will also need to have a boat, plane and car owned by your character. For starters, you need to own a car and pass the driving test. You will need to have a boating license to buy a boat. And yes, that means you also need a good job or source of cash to pull this all off. After that, you also need to get a pilot’s license. You could potentially get the pilot’s license and get a job as a pilot. Each of these tests has its own answers, as well as a cost attached.
Once you have the licenses done, it’s time to get into the relaxing part.
Going on Vacay
One trick I’ve found that makes this easier is having a save that’s already wealthy. It seems to be that a character who already is famous can take their millions and use them to earn more BitLife challenges. The New Year, New You Challenge in BitLife requires a fair amount of in-game cash, as you’re going on a lot of vacations. You can find both on the same menu. Go into Activities, and click Vacation part-way down. You need to go on 3 or more cruises and 109 First Class vacations. Each one costs around $10,000 dollars, so you need a large chunk of change. When you choose the option, you will get a dropdown with various options. Be sure to pick First Class when you have the option for it to count.
There are a couple of things to remember when going on vacation. You should probably take any spouse or partner along, as they can get mad if you go on too many vacations and leave them behind. Also, bad events can happen when on vacation.
Finally, wrap things up by using the Emigrate option found under Activities to move nations. You need to request approval and wait for it to be approved. There’s also a nominal fee of a few thousand dollars attached.
Once you have moved countries and completed the other steps, you have finished the New Year, New You Challenge in BitLife.
