Cutting Moment in New Pokémon Snap is one of the many Lentalk Requests in the game. The Requests often involve a bunch of trekking around the various maps in the game to find Pokémon in various positions. The goal is to bring back a photo to the quest giver that contains the required Pokémon in the right state. Some of these are a bit more involved than others. You’re supposed to take photos of Aipom doing something strange, and there’s an easy way to complete this one. You need to get them into the right spot to take the required photo. Here’s how to complete Cutting Moment in New Pokémon Snap.
How to complete Cutting Moment in New Pokémon Snap
- Enter Founja Jungle (Day) Research Level 2.
- Look ahead in the path and you will see an Aipom strutting in the middle of the path. Take a photo of it.
- Scan the spider web off the path on your left.
- Scan the fork ahead and take the left path.
- Hit the Aipom ahead with an Illumina Orb and take a photo of it when it cuts the grass.
When you first enter the Jungle, just look right ahead and you will spot an Aipom ahead that’s strutting its stuff in the path. Take a photo of it and it will run off. When it does that, you will need to go through the path a bit more, and you will see a spider web up to your left. Scan the spider web off the path on your left to get the next bit of prep.
There’s a fork ahead that you need to scan, do that, and take the left-hand path. Ahead of you, those same two Aipom will run off up a tree. You need to look ahead after that alternate path and you will see Aipom again. When one of them stops, throw an Illumina Orb to light them up. The one you hit will then run to the left and cut the grass, exposing a hidden area. That’s when you want to take the photo. You’re done, now just finish the level.
Now snap the pic when the Aipom cuts the grass. Once you have the proper photo, you can return to Professor Mirror and turn in your prize for a nice chunk of XP. There, you have now completed Cutting Moment in New Pokémon Snap.
