How to change World Tiers in Outriders

Outriders system requirements revealed

World Tiers in Outriders are what change how difficult the game is. The setting changes the loot that drops, as well as how tough the enemies are. You can farm some rather powerful items if you’re willing to take on the much harder settings. Here’s everything you need to know about this system. This guide will let you know how to change the World Tier, as well as what each Tier does.

Each of these World Tiers in Outriders has its own modifiers to loot ratios and other parts of the game. The easiest difficulty setting will drop the enemy level a few levels and apply a pretty big penalty to loot drop rarity. For example, you only have a 70% chance to get a rarity above normal on drops at that level. There are fifteen tiers in all to choose from.

The more and more you play, there’s a World Tier bar that will fill up. Look up at the top of the screen if you’re having trouble finding it. As you take out enemies, the game takes into account the expected DPS you’re doing it. As you play, the game will slowly fill the bar up and raise your World Tiers in Outriders.

The game will, by default, change the setting automatically. As you play the challenge will adjust based on how well you’re doing in battles to keep your experience challenging. And yes, if you start to have trouble, the game will lower the World Tier down. So if you can’t take out enemies quick enough, things will get easier. But sometimes, you might want to tone it down to make things easier. Here’s how to change the World Tier.

How to change the World Tier

All you have to do is open up the main menu, and then click on the World Tier button to see the options. You can alter it on the fly as well, as there’s no saving and reloading to change the setting.  Just use the list below to pick the setting you like and give it a try. Once you find one you like playing, feel free to stick with it.
