How to change Matchmaking regions In Destruction AllStars
Your region can vary based on what country your in somewhat, but the servers are pretty broad. The game will group players by region in Europe and North America, as well as a few other regions. You can change the default from your initial region, but there is something to consider. The further away you are from the source server, the more latency becomes a problem. The more time it takes for input to travel to the players, the more likely you are to experience lag spikes. So if you want to get the best possible game performance, stick in your default region.
If that’s not a big deal for you, let’s continue.
There are three regions of the game available: US Central, Europe, and Japan. You can swap between these at any time in the options menu. You won’t get too much lag in other regions beyond your default, but it is a concern.
Open up the Main Menu and press Options. Head over to the Gameplay tab and you will see a few options to tweak. You will see Matchmaking at the bottom of the menu. You can change the slider to change Matchmaking regions In Destruction AllStars.
