How to buy Beast Balls in Crown Tundra for Pokémon Sword and Shield

How to get Beast Balls in Crown Tundra for Pokémon Sword and Shield

The Beast Ball in Crown Tundra is one of the harder-to-get items in the new DLC. The Beast Ball was originally from Pokémon Ultra Sun and Moon and it returned in Sword and Shield. It was used as a rather specialized Ball in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Moon. Since there are new Ultra beasts this time around, there’s a good reason to grab these. And if you’re a collector or shiny hunter, there’s a really cool cosmetic reason to get one. It’s useful for Shiny hunters who want to show off their monster in a unique ball.

Where to get the Beast Ball

There are normally two ways to get this rare item in the base game. Beast Balls are a bit easier to acquire now, thanks to The Crown Tundra. Let’s talk about where we used to be able to get them.

You can get Beast Ball in Pokémon Sword and Shield is through the random vendor in Stow-on-Side. It’s a very low chance for it to spawn though, so keep that in mind. The second method to get one is from the Ball Guy in Wyndon’s main stadium. You will have to completely complete the game and the post-game content. This will allow you to talk to him again after becoming Champion of the Galarian Star Tournament, he gives you a random reward. One such reward from this is the Beast Ball.

The new method for getting Beast Balls in Crown Tundra requires you to get into the endgame really deep. You will need to farm a ton of Dynite Ore to get them. The Beast Ball costs 150 Dynite Ore. This translates to running and completing at least 12-15 Dynamax Adventures with a successful capture of the Legendary at the end.
