How To Build A Railjack In Warframe Rising Tide

Warframe Rising Tide

The Warframe Rising Tide Railjack quest is a bit of a confusing one for both new and old players. To be fair to them, Warframe is a game not known for its simplicity. Digital Extremes has tacked on so many bits and bobs over the years that the mechanics have become quite deep and intricate, and sometimes difficult to comprehend.  The crafting system is arguably most infamous for this.

How to Build a Railjack

You first need to have a few things in order to actually begin assembly.

Firstly, you need to have already constructed a Dry Dock in Clan Dojo. Here’s a guide on how to create a Dry Dock for those wondering. After that, you will need to research and develop Cephalon Cy AI. The Second Dream story conclusion will also need to be finished. There’s spoilers all over that, so be prepared if you’re new and have never been through it before.

Most of the components take 12 hours or more to finish building, so be prepared for a wait.

Step One – The Fuselage

The core of your new ship is of course the bare hull. You will gain access to this once you have unlocked the Dry Dock and fulfilled the other basic requirements. Once ready Cephalon Cy will provide a mission through the Codex. It’s a special Mars defensive mission that simply involves defending markers while you scan wreckage. The hardest part of this whole thing is keeping the area clear of enemies, including two powerful Sentient Drones that act as a boss encounter. Once you complete this mission, head to the

Fast travel to your Dojo and you will find it there. The fuselage needs repair, and you will need the following resources to fix it:

  • 1,000,000 Credits
  • 100 Cubic Diodes
  • 3000 Plastids
  • 15,000 Rubedo
  • 30 Neural Sensors

Cubic Diodes are one of the new resources added in Rising Tide. They can primarily be farmed from dead Eximus units on Ceres, in missions on the Grineer Shipyard tileset.

Step Two – The Engines

To actually power the ship, you will also need some engines. The propulsion system will also be supplied to you as part of the Rising Tide quest line via the Dry Dock. The missions to unlock it is basically the exact same as the previous one, just kill enemies around the marker until you head to extraction. Head to the Dojo once it’s unlocked to begin construction. You will need the following resources:

  • 1,000,000 Credits
  • 60 Carbides
  • 1000 Cryotic
  • 30 Orokin Cells
  • 20,000 Nano Spores

Carbides are the other new resource in Rising Tide. They can primarily be farmed from dead Eximus Units on Europa, on the Ice Planet tileset.

Step Three – Port Nacelle

The third part of the Railjack is the port nacelle, or the engine housing on the left side of the craft. Cephalon Cy will send players to Lua. The mission is once again very similar to previous outings. Simply defend the marker and wait for extraction. Once complete, head to the Dojo to pick up the new module once the 12 hours have elapsed.

The boss for this encounter is a hard-hitting group of Battalysts. These guys are very dangerous and deal tons of damage.

Here are the resources you will need to repair this part:

  • 1,000,000 Credits
  • 60 Carbides
  • 5,000 Circuits
  • 27,000 Alloy Plate
  • 200 Control Module

Step Four – Starboard Nacelle

In a very similar run to the port variety of this module, expect another defense-type mission. This time your Codex sends you to Venus for another similar mission to the previous one. Simply defend the marker and wait for extraction. Once complete, head to the Dojo to pick up the new module once the 12 hours have elapsed.

The boss here is one of the toughest so far, as both Drones and Battalysts will show up when you’re scanning the wrecks.

Here are the resources you will need to repair this part:

  • 1,000,000 Credits
  • 100 Pustrels
  • 500 Fieldron Sample
  • 50 Morphics
  • 35 Neurodes

Pustrels are one of two new Ores in Rising Tide, in this case they are found on the Plains of Eidolon.

To farm ore on the Plains of Eidolon, you will need a Nosam Cutter from Old Man Sumbaat in Cetus or a Sunpoint Plasma Drill from Smokefinger in Fortuna. Both of them can be purchased with Standing for the relevant Syndicates. To earn Standing, do missions for Konzu in Cetus, or Eudico in Fortuna. You can also sell Ores mined in batches each day to farm Rep, which is great for farming while mining.

Pustrel drops are random; there is no way to know if a vein contains Pustrels until you mine it, so travel from vein to vein, mining the red ones to get Pustrels.

Step Five – Tail Section

Here are the resources you will need to repair this part:

  • 1,000,000 Credits
  • 80 Copernics
  • 10,000 Ferrite
  • 4,500 Polymer Bundle
  • 15 Argon Crystal

Copernics are one of two new Ores in Rising Tide, in this case they are found on Orb Valis.

To farm ore on Orb Vallis, you will need a Nosam Cutter from Old Man Sumbaat in Cetus or a Sunpoint Plasma Drill from Smokefinger in Fortuna. Both of them can be purchased with Standing for the relevant Syndicates. To earn Standing, do missions for Konzu in Cetus, or Eudico in Fortuna. You can also sell Ores mined in batches each day to farm Rep, which is great for farming while mining.

Copernics drops are random; there is no way to know if a vein contains Copernics until you mine it, so travel from vein to vein, mining the red ones to farm them.

Step Six – Engine Cowling

Here are the resources you will need to repair this part:

  • 1,000,000 Credits
  • 40 Copernics
  • 500 Detonite Ampule
  • 10,000 Ferrite
  • 10,000 Salvage
