How to Beat Lidia the Chaos Archer in V Rising

V Rising Guides

V Rising puts far more emphasis on survival than a more action-oriented vamp game. Surviving against the many enemies is going to be tough. Blood is the core of your survival. You will need blood to continue fighting and growing your power. As you grow in power and get a better gear level, you will be able to take on vicious bosses. Beating bosses is a huge part of the game as well.  And each boss will have unlocks attached to it. Various recipes and item unlocks are just the beginning. You will also need to take out V bosses in V Rising to unlock new abilities that help power you up.

And as you expand your territory and controlled minions, you even get to set roots down with a gothic manor. You get to build your massive and brooding castles to dominate the landscape. And when building that castle, there’s a lot of stuff to learn. Like learning how to manage Misery for your newly taken prisoners. There’s so much more to this game as well.

Be sure to check out our other guides on scrolls, and other materials like fish oil. Other upgrades like Whetstones are pretty useful as well. Other aspects of the game can help with your journey, like farming in V Rising and growing stuff from seeds. Seeds harvested from bosses can be used to grow unique items for crating intriguing new armor. Some of the best armor in the game is the Dark Silver gear, which is super powerful. And since you’re trying to get more powerful gear, leather can be helpful as well. Other items like Wool Thread and Clay are useful for early game crafting. There’s just so much to do in this game. Anyway, on to the point.

There’s one level 26 boss that seems to be pretty powerful, and players are struggling with her. You need to beat her to unlock the Devourer, which is an important salvaging item that you will get a lot of use out of. This item makes salvaging possible, and it’s really useful. Here are the things you need to do to beat her.

Lidia the Chaos Archer Location

To help with finding any boss, you can build the Blood Altar. To make a Blood Altar, you’ll need to gather 180 Stones and 10 Blood Essence. Once you have that, and have beaten the weaker bosses, you can track Lidia the Chaos Archer.

She will often spawn nearby to the southern part of the Farbane Woods. She wanders along the Farbane Woods’ roads, with no fixed position. However, she does seem to stick to a set area. The map below shows where you should start looking.

How to Beat Lidia the Chaos Archer in V Rising

Lidia will try to attack you outdoors, so be sure to take the sun into account when planning for this battle. For starters, you need to have a gear level of at least 26 for this fight. Make sure you have around level 30 if you want to have an easier time, but it’s not required.

Chaos Arrow is her first attack that fires off three arrows and they come out rapidly. These are fired pretty fast, but not too hard to dodge. Just keep abreast of the attacks she’s chaining and keep dodging.

Her other threatening element is that suite of chaos abilities. She loves to spam out chaos AoEs that she fires up, then they come back down. She also likes to disappear for a short time before firing off a shot. Bring a few ranged abilities, possibly something to Incapacitate her to pin her in a spot. This will make it much easier. Use your dodge ability liberally, and look out for her AoEs. Those AoEs also leave behind fires, so stay out of those.

She will also give out that chaos bolt when you drink her blood. This power allows you to fire two bolts in sequence, each other doing 125% magic damage.
