The Stony Cliff Titan is the first of the Titans you will likely face in the game. It’s kind of hard to find though, so some players end up skipping right by it and facing the Open Sky titan first. I did just that, which meant this was a much easier fight than intended. But if you’re having trouble, keep reading to learn how to overcome this giant crab. Regardless of whatever order you tackle them, you’ll want to know more about the Stony Cliff Titan location, as well as their weaknesses, keep reading to find that out.
Where to find Klawff, The Stony Cliff Titan
The Stony Cliff Titan is found in the middle of the road leading from Mesagoza to Artazon in South Province (Area Three). When you’re close, you will get a call from Arven.
You’re going to need to chase him a bit to find him. T The fastest way to get to it, assuming you have the Watchtower unlocked, is to fly to the South Province (Area Three) Watchtower and then head along the path. if you head along the path from Artazon West, you will reach this location easily. Head east from the Watchtower along the road, then take the path north when it splits off in the direction of the Titan’s map marker. He will be sitting on a rockface on a plateau. Get close enough, and they’ll flee up the cliff to the right. Follow this right-hand path up round to the top of the cliff to find it again.
How to beat Klawff, The Stony Cliff Titan
The titan isn’t too hard as long as you have the right Pokemon. As for team composition, you have plenty of options. Since the Titan is weak to Water, Grass, Fighting, and Ground-type moves, you have plenty of choices. And if you’re around level 16 or so, you should be fine. Quaxly and Sprigatito — or their evolutions — are great for this fight, as is Diglett or Donphan. Wooper with a Ground move can make up this slot in a pinch. Mankey can also do in a pinch if it’s around level 18 or so.
He’ll break open a rock and eat an Herba Mystica, just like the other Titans, and you get to face him in phase 2. Arven will show up at this point and join in on the battle. Arven will throw a Shellder into the fight in phase 2 and help out with damage. If you’ve got a Ground type, you should be set fairly easily.
after beating the Stony Cliff Titan a second time, you will then be given the Sweet Herba Mystica. Arven will make a sandwich with it, and you have the option to give it to your Pokemon companion. Do this, and your chosen Legendary steed will gain new powers. In this case, Koraidon or Miraidon will gain the Dash ability.
From here, you could take on the Open Sky Titan, or move on and start training to take on the Dark Crew. After that, you’re going to want to take on Iono and her Electric Gym, along with Mela and the Fire Crew.
