How to activate Boosts in Halo Infinite

Halo Infinite

Boosts in Halo Infinite are a new thing added for this evolution of the franchise. The multiplayer scene has changed a lot since the early days of Xbox Live, and it’s much more involved now. Players are still competing to prove who the best Halo player is, but more rewards are on the line. Players can earn unique cosmetics to show off, giving them something to chase.

Since the game is trying to compete with the likes of Fortnite, there’s a battle pass system and a much more event-driven progression system. The Halo Infinite multiplayer modes are built around trying to keep players coming back. Since the structure is around gaining levels to an absurd degree, there’s a lot of XP to earn. You earn XP as you play the game and do well, increasing ranks on your Battle Pass. And with proper use of Boosts in Halo Infinite, you can speed this up.

How to use Boosts in Halo Infinite

When you’re inside a game lobby, scroll down and look for the button that says Boosts, which leads you to the right menu. Click that and see what boosts you have on hand.

Every boost applied from the menu applies a certain amount of bonus XP for tasks completed. Another big part of progression in the new game is the weekly challenges. 343 Industries has inundated players with a bunch of new challenges each week, yielding XP and rewards for players. The addition of Boosts is useful to speed these up as well.

There’s other stuff you can do as well, particularly with customization. You can alter your Spartan ID, nameplate and more for some flair. You can also customize your Spartan in many ways, so try that out.

You might also have some other questions about the game. If you have gameplay questions, you might be new to CTF. That means it’s a good idea to learn the controls, like how to drop the flag. There’s some free cosmetic 20th anniversary content you can claim. IIf you’re the kind of person who only wants to play with console or PC players, you can also get around the crossplay. You can also hop in with your pal in a splitscreen game if that’s your thing.
