How do Magazines in Fallout 76 work

Fallout 4

Fallout has always had special perk-based systems for character upgrades, and the online game is very similar. Magazines in Fallout 76  are unique items that can be gotten from around the game world. Magazines, like Bobbleheads, are a collectible in Fallout 76. Each time you loot one, you get a special perk. You have to find them and pick them up to get the rewards. Finding them is another matter. There are close to 100 different Magazines that you can get your hands on in Fallout 76. There are a total of 12 publications and 104 collective issues that spawn randomly. Each one has boots that last for 30 minutes when looted.

All Magazines in Fallout 76

There are many different magazines that can be found all around the game map. Many of them are perk books, which allow the player to gain buffs to their character. The type and strange of the buff will depend on which issue you consume.

The magazines can be found pretty much anywhere, and will often be brightly colored to help you spot them. They also often emit an audio cue to help you find them. As an exception, the RobCo Fun magazines instead grant a re-usable holotape game. Certain issues may provide a temporary buff upon being looted.

Magazines are susceptible to physics, so they may fall off platforms and may not be in the exact location listed below. Additionally, other players may loot magazines, preventing them from appearing.
