It has been twenty-four years since the release of PlayStation title Monster Rancher, known in Japan as Monster Farm. The first game spawned numerous other games, as well as an anime series. How do I upgrade the Ranch in Monster Rancher 1 & 2 DX?
the second game in the series makes this a much more convoluted process. it really adds a lot of layers onto what foundation from the first game. The basic idea is that you need to have a certain amount of gold on hand, and have a monster at a certain breeder rank to get Ranch upgrades. There are three tiers of Ranch upgrades for the game.
When you want to upgrade the Ranch in Monster Rancher 1 & 2 DX you need to have beaten the official breeder cup for that letter rank. There are 10 Breeder ranks in MR2, and each one is attached to beating a certain tournament. You start at Trainer Rank 1, and must get to Rank 3 to unlock the first upgrade for your House. When you reach the 4th Week of May, the event should trigger if you have the gold to afford it. Use the list below to know what you need to do.
