Check out how bosses work in Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr

Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr is basically Diablo for 40K fans. And it’s even cooler than it sounds. If you’ve ever wanted to bathe in the blood of slain forces of Chaos, this is the game for you.

The game is coming out of Steam Early Access in May 2018, and it’s bringing a lot of interesting content with it. The newest trailer from developer NeoCore Games shows us more about how bosses will work in Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr.

Each boss exists on a tier compared to the other bosses in the game. There are six tiers in total, with examples clearly inspired by tabletop units such as Dreadnoughts. The lowest tier, “Champion” bosses, will pop up in any major fight. Neocore are keeping the nastiest as a surprise, with a big question mark instead of the tier six ‘Nemesis’.

And in case that wasn’t enough, the trailer closes on footage of the player driving a massive Mech known as the Imperial Knight in to combat. All in all, this newest addition to the franchise looks great, I can’t wait to sink my teeth into it upon it’s full release.
