With the release of a new trailer, IO Interactive has revealed the holiday festivities for the assassin simulator that is Hitman 2. Titled Holiday Hoarders, Agent 47 is going on a mission to ruin Christmas for everyone in his characteristic manner, by murdering everything in sight.
Within the themed update there’s some new missions to undertake, but there’s also lots of stocking-stuffers for players to goof around with. Players can unlock a festive Santa 47 suit to take on ops, as well as a hoard of unlockable weapons like a new throwable shovel and crowbar, which are both decked out in bloody holiday cheer.
The Holiday Hoarders event kicks off on December 18th, and will run through December. Hurry and grab those themed challenges and unlock the Santa 47 suit and other rewards while you can.
This isn’t the first in-game event for Hitman 2 either, and it certainly won’t be the last. IO Interactive also included a special Elusive Target featuring Sean Bean, the actor famous for taking roles with a penchant for death.
