Hitman 2 release new gameplay launch trailer

Hitman 2

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and IO Interactive have just released a new gameplay trailer for Hitman 2 to celebrate the launch of the stealth-driven action game.

In this new trailer, we see teases of a bunch of new elements and expanded coverage of some previously seen gameplay aspects. The singleplayer campaign takes place on six different unique locales, each with their own interesting sets of missions and with tons of cool toys to goof around with. The game also features multiplayer modes in Sniper Assassin and Ghost Mode.

If you want to see more of IO’s upcoming assassin-them-up, go check out legendary actor Sean Bean in some of the promo trailers. Did you know that Sean Bean will also play the first Elusive Target? If you didn’t know, an Elusive Target is a special limited-time mission which players only get a single life to complete. The first of these in Hitman 2 will run for 14 days, starting on November 20.

And that’s not all. IO recently asked fans what exclusive bonus item they’d like to see implemented into the game as a new weapon. The three choices given where the Flash Grenade Robot, Earphones Garotte or Explosive Pen, with the Explosive Pen coming out ahead. In a very similar fashion to the iconic Exploding Rubber Duck, this new items joins the massive roster of improvised and prepared weapons in the Hitman franchise. If you’d like to see more of the toys Agent 47 will bring along for the ride, check out the “Tools of the Trade” trailer.
