Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and IO Interactive have just dropped a massive pile of holiday loot right into our laps. The developer has just detailed all of the new in-game events and specialty themed content coming to Hitman 2 in December 2019. There’s a whole goody bag full of loot and special events spread over the entire month, all for free.
All of this content will be free for all players, so Santa 47 is stuffing his sack pretty full this year. Each of the added pieces of content will follow previous iterations. So expect Elusive Targets aplenty. IO Interactive is also including a bunch of new seasonal events for the holidays too. Each event will see a special mission set in a specific map. These seasonal events will allow players to unlock a couple of special items for use in all missions, the Snow Festival Suit and Ice Pick. These new events are all Christmasy, so prepare to look festive while you commit tons of murder in Holiday Hoarders and Snow Festival.
You have to hurry though, as some of the Seasonal Events are running for a limited time. We’ve included the full list of content coming to Hitman 2 in December 2019 below, along with their start dates. The first updates kick off on December 5th, including a new Escalation Contract in Santa Fortuna. IO has also teased two more of these Escalations throughout the month. And yes, some of these are returning from last year’s Holiday Hoarders event, so if you missed them before, here’s your chance to snatch those rewards.
