Highest Profit Summer Crops in Stardew Valley

How to get hardwood in Stardew Valley

Stardew Valley has a lot of things you can do to your new farm home. Build friendly and romantic relationships with your chummy neighbors, all while exploring a wide array of locales and quests. This game is incredibly complex and is a ton of fun for casual gamers. And in the process of making your dream farm, you have a lot of choices to make. But to build all those different upgrades and complete quests, you need money.

Each season, there are a set series of crops you can choose to grow. Each one has a set sell price based on rarity, and needs a certain number of days to grow. During Summer in particular, this is where a lot of the money is made. You need to grow various precursor crops like Starfruit, Corn and Wheat to turn them into more valuable items in the Fall. And with so many farm layouts in the game, there’s plenty of options to choose from.

Here’s every Summer Crop in Stardew Valley and what prices they can fetch:

  • Blueberries – $80 to buy, $240 to sell, with 13 day growth time and profit of $12.3/day.
  • Corn – $150 to buy, $50 to sell, with 14 day growth time and profit of $7.4/day.
  • Hops – $60 to buy, $25 to sell, with 11 day growth time and profit of $13/day.

So based on the daily costs and prices, there are a few options that stand out as clearly the best options to choose. Bear in mind that the profits listed above are just raw revenue, and don’t account for any other inputs and changes. Some items, like Corn and Hops are unique in that they are used in other recipes. Pale Ale is very profitable, so grow Hops to make tons of that.

As for a generic crop to grow, you have a few solid options. Blueberry bushes take 13 days to mature and continue to produce a minimum of three blueberries every four days after that initial harvest. This pace of growth makes them a great moneyspinner. Another solid option based on pure profit is Starfruit. Growing a lot of these and making them into Wine can churn out thousands of G.
