Where to find a Flail in Elden Ring
Of the many weapons found in Elden Ring, there are a few that stand out for the player after a more unique experience. Drawing on the classic Cleric archetype of D&D, players get to swing a big heavy mace with a twist around. That twist is that the weapon has surprising range, thanks to the attached chain. It’s a somewhat slow weapon, but it packs quite the punch. Players will be able to chew through many undead thanks to its bulky hitting power.

- Flail: Likely the first Flail you will be able to obtain during your playthrough in Elden Ring. You will be able to get the weapon by opening a chest inside a wagon located northeast of Gatefront Ruins. You need 10 Strength and 10 Dexterity to use this
- Chainlink Flail: Drops from the menacing Pumpkinhead enemies found around the map. Farm them to get the drop. You need to have at least 18 Strength and 12 Dexterity to use this.
- Family Heads: Can be obtained by defeating the Necromancer Garris boss in the Sage’s Cave rea, located southwest of Wyndham Ruins. you require at least 8 Strength, 18 Dexterity, and 16 intelligence.
- Nightrider Flail: Can be obtained by defeating the Night’s Cavalry boss located o the Weeping Peninsula area. This boss can be kind of tough, but drops a nice bunch of Runes. You need 10 Strength and 24 Dexterity to use this.
- Bastard’s Stars: Can be obtained by exchanging the Remembrance of the Naturalborn item with Enia at the Roundtable Hold. You will need to defeat Astel, Naturalborn of the Void on the Lake of Rot region to obtain the item first. You need 8 Strength, 22 Dexterity, and 22 intelligence to use this
