Ninja Theory’s amazing and terrifying exploration of mental trauma, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, is heading for Xbox One on April 11th. To hype up the launch, the developer has released a new trailer that showcases some of the improved performance we’ll see thanks to the Xbox One X.
That improved performance mode includes:
- Enhanced Visuals mode offers extra FX and visual quality throughout the experience.
- High Framerate mode runs the game at 60fps.
- High Resolution mode runs the game with dynamic resolutions up to 4K.
The game has been surprisingly popular considering it’s subject matter and gritty tone. It’s an amazing and harrowing journey from beginning to end that acts as a masterclass in pacing and story-driven gameplay. If you’re waiting for the Xbox release, I promise the game is well worth it.
