The GOG Grand RPG Sale has begun, in addition to the recent integration with the Epic Games Store. The storefront has listed hundreds of games and DLC on sale. More than 220 titles and add-ons have gotten some kind of discount in the sale. For the next week, you will want to check out these deals to see what’s going on.
And being an RPG-focused event, expect some standout deals to be had. One such banger is the prospect of getting Pillars of Eternity: Definitive Edition at 50% off. The revival of the CRPG genre from Obsidian is a hit from the last few years, and is definitely worth a run if you’ve never played it. The deep story and character writing are underscored by the incredibly crisp gameplay. And yes, the sequel and its DLC are also getting discounted too.
Various Baldur’s Gate, Neverwinter Nights and other D&D RPGs are also on sale. Pathfinder: Kingmaker, Outward and Divinity 2 all offer some more contemporary takes on the RPG genre as well during the GOG Grand RPG sale. And of course, you will find dozens of classic RPGs on sale as well.
If you’re more into the sci-fi side of things, some of the best Star Wars games ever made are on sale. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords both sit at 65% off. Although if you’re playing the second game, it’s all but required to get the Restored Content mod up and running first. This adds a bunch of cut content from the sequel that makes the entire game make a lot more sense.
So even though the Steam Summer Sale is over, there’s still plenty of solid deals to be had.
