Genshin Impact’s 1.1 update increases resources and more fast travel added

Genshin Impact Elemental Reactions Guide

The upcoming patch to Genshin Impact has some much-needed quality-of-life changes. Players feel that some resource limits are too restrictive. One of the primary complaints is that the resin limit is just too low. Genshin Impact’s 1.1 update will raise the current limit to 160 per player from the old cap of 120. Details on other changes are a bit sketchy, but the update is almost here.

Announced via the game’s Twitter, we also learned other details about the patch. The 1.1 patch will also add other quality of life changes to make the game easier to deal with. The gacha title already has enough of a learning curve, so why not make things a bit easier for new people. There’s an ability to set custom waypoints finally being added, for example. It will also be easier to understand the requirements to use or make new gear as well.

For gameplay changes, we’re getting new high-level quests for the best players  To participate in the new content, you need to get all the way to Adventure Rank 38, which is quite the grind. The new Liben event is already live, so go check that out in-between grinding.

The new patch drops on November 11. Update 1.2 should land a month later in December. More details to come about that one as well.

Genshin Impact’s 1.1 update will lead the charge into the next phase of the game’s development. Developer MiHoYo has already started adding new characters like Klee, but more are to come. And of course, this is just the beginning. The 1.2 update introduces a brand new region for folks to explore as well. There will also be minor patches for bug fixes and new characters along the way as well.
