Gearbox has announced the Season 2 DLC packs for Borderlands 3. The DLC Season pass 2 for Borderlands 3 kicks off on November 10, which is called Borderlands 3 Designer’s Cut.
Borderlands 3 Designer’s Cut brings out more in-game events and quests as a new batch of DLC is planned. Previewed at the PAX Digital Showcase in September, the Designer’s Cut expansion features plenty of new stuff. Designer’s Cut will deliver an additional skill tree for each Vault Hunter and a brand-new game mode called Arms Race. Amara the Siren, FL4K the Beastmaster, Moze the Gunner, and Zane the Operative will all have new archetypes to build off of. And all that is just the beginning.
And speaking of that Arms Race mode, players will take part in a mode that sounds like it could be a king-of-the-hill mode. Details are still a bit murky at this point, as we’re waiting for Gearbox to give out more info. A price for Season Pass 2 has also not been revealed at this time. As Gearbox puts it “we’re saving Director’s Cut details for another day, but rest assured it will be bursting with next-level mayhem as Borderlands 3 continues its second year.”
Bloody Harvest Halloween event, which is live in Borderlands 3 until November 5, still continues. This is the latest of DLC packs released for the game, including a new in-game event with tons of loot. So if you haven’t had a chance to get into the game, don’t worry, there’s more to do coming.
It’s also worth noting that existing Borderlands 3 players will receive Xbox Series X/S and PS5 versions of the game when those consoles launch. These ports will have 60 FPS support and 4K on both PS5 and XSX.
