Frostpunk features trailer released
Next week, 11 bit Studios will release finally be releasing their post-apocalyptic city-building sim Frostpunk on PC. Today, the developer released a new trailer highlighting eleven of the game’s most important features. For those that are unaware, Frostpunk is the newest game from the makers of the incredibly grim This War of Mine. But instead of placing the player in charge of an isolated group of people trying to survive a warzone, Frostpunk tasks you with leading an entire colony trying not to freeze to death on a barren landscape during an ice age.
The trailer takes us through some of the basics of surviving the unforgiving landscape of Frostpunk. One of the most important elements shown in the trailer is the aspect of managing the development of your city. You’ll need to make strategic choices about not only the technical, but also legal, aspects of managing the last scraps of human civilization. From the laws you choose, to the way you distribute heat, everything you do has consequences. If you lose colonists journeying out into the dangerous Frostlands, your morale and your overall effectiveness as a cohesive unit are going to suffer.
You can check out the new trailer below. Frostpunk will release on PC on April 24.
