Free ‘Pokémon Quest’ RPG released today on Nintendo Switch
The newest Pokémon game is available right now for Nintendo Switch owners. Just announced at a press conference in Japan, Pokémon Quest features creatures from the series’ Kanto region. The game has a unique blocky appearance that’s reminiscent of Minecraft.
The gameplay is advertised as a “free-to-start” game, so that means we can expect microtransactions or addons of some time to be released eventually. One of the main gameplay elements is Power Stones. These items will allow you to completely modify the traits of all of your Pokemon. You can use a team of three Pokes to battle and capture new additions to your stable. There are also base customization and cooking mechanics that come into play over the course of the game.
The game is available now for Nintendo Switch and will land on mobile platforms at the end of June 2018.
