With the onset on November, that means it’s time for more changes in everyone’s favorite battle royale video game, Fortnite. Epic has just released patch 6.21 as part of the ongoing push of Season 6 content, and it makes some interesting changes.
Along with the other fixes and adjustments, Epic has added an entirely new item and gameplay mechanic, one that’s a little weird if I’m honest.
The addition of giant balloons to Fortnite adds yet another tactical option to the already dense selection of problem-solving choices players have. In a game about building weird contraptions to destroy your enemies, the ability to fly over the battlefield raining death down upon your foes is quite useful, this is exactly what these new balloons allow you to do. And the more balloons you add, the farther you can travel.
In other Fortnite news, the game is wrapping up it’s Halloween-themed Fortnitemares event, A new character has also been introduced to Save The World called Dim Mak Igor. This plague doctor monstrosity tosses smoke bombs and lurks in the shadows waiting for a prime opportunity to strike.
