Fortnite introduces new monthly subscription service called Fortnite Crew

Fortnite Crew premium paid sub revealed

Epic Games has announced Fortnite Crew — a new monthly subscription service for all versions of the game that will enhance the experience — mostly by adding new bonuses for V-Bucks and other rewards. Details are pretty interesting, and it’s going to be a pretty big money spinner for Epic, as it’s going to  Fortnite Crew launches at the beginning of Chapter 2 – Season 5. And when it does, the way many folks deal with the Battle Pass is about to change.

Buying into the service grants you a bevy of different rewards. For starters, you get access to the premium Battle Pass for the entire season, offering a bit of a saving on buying it piecemeal. This bundle also includes 1000 V-Bucks and an exclusive Fornite Crew pack—which is given out every month—along with a special cosmetic pack, the Outfit Bundle.

For the launch of the first month, which is December 2020, players will get the V-Bucks rewards and some special cosmetics, namely the Cosmic Llamacorn Pickaxe and Fractured World Back Bling. Each month, the cosmetics will shift, but the Battle Pass and currency offer should remain the same.
