Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 Week 2 map challenges and quests leaked

How to get and upgrade the Mandalorian skin in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5

Fans of Fortnite rejoice, the Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 Week 2 map challenges and quests have been leaked. Prolific leaker iFireMonkey has come through again, prowling through the code and finding a bunch of new details for fans to enjoy. One interesting change is that Epic has renamed the weekly map challenges. From Week 2 map challenges onward, they will instead be known as Epic Quests. You can complete these each week to earn a pile of 20,000 XP towards ranks.

And thankfully it’s just the name that has changed. The game’s challenges for this week are all about exploration and collection. Players will have to run around collecting certain items, smashing stuff, and getting kills again this week. You will want your head on a swivel this week, as the competition for the new content is pretty intense.

Here are the new Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 Week 2 map challenges:

  • Destroy mailboxes (0/5)
  • Plant the evidence in Catty Corner or Flush Factory (0/3)
  • Find car parts (0/3)
  • Deliver a vehicle from Steamy Stacks to Pleasant Park (0/1)
  • Drive through flaming rings (0/1)
  • Find clues in Pleasant Park, Holly Hedges, and Lazy Lake (0/3)
  • Destroy dog houses (0/3)
  • Legendary: Damage with Legendary Weapons (1500, 3000, 4500, 6000, 7500)

There’s a new high-tier Legendary quest that involves dealing damage with Legendary weapons, as the name implies. Players will have a total of five milestones to hit with these damage pools, all the way up to 7,500 combined damage dealt to other players.

These new challenges should drop with the normal weekly reset on Thursday, December 10 provided Epic doesn’t change things around.

Other changes in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5

Another change is that Punch Cards have been replaced with Milestones. These are still a great way to level up your Battle Pass though, as each tier is worth up to 15,000 XP against a rank. These challenges each have five tiers within them relating to some in-game activity. Getting eliminations with certain weapon types are just the beginning. You can also destroy objects, complete all rarities of Challenges and Bounties, and so much more. You can even earn XP for upgrading weapons as well as for distance traveled in various ways.

Along with these new quests, some Creative LTMs have been teased as well. The details are being kept under wraps by some leakers, as the new limited-time modes include major changes.
