Bandai Namco details first patch for Jump Force

JUMP FORCE Ruroni Kenshin Trailer

Bandai Namco has teased their plans to improve their newest fighting game, Jump Force, and it looks like they’re already responding to player feedback.

A patch is currently in the works for Jump Force that will improve loading time, allow you to skip its cutscenes, as well as stability and battle bug fixes. This patch should be available across platforms, “in the coming days.”

If you haven’t heard of this game, and you happen to be a fan of various iconic anime and manga franchies, you’re in for a treat. Jump Force features a ton of anime and manga properties, with a bunch of characters from each, and they’re all trying to knock the snot out of each other. If you’re wondering why, it can easily be explained as “time-based nonsense”. All these different franchises are slammed together for the purposes of a big fight and that’s all you really need to know.

To see more of what this game is about, go check out some of our other coverage. There’s the full roster list over here. If you want to see some characters in action, go check out a gameplay trailer featuring characters from Yu Yu Hakusho and Hunter X Hunter. Or maybe you’re a Naruto fan, don’t worry, those folks are in here too, specifically Boruto, Kaguya and more. If you’re a fan of the classically campy JoJo, Dio and Jotaro are here for the fight as well.

If you want an even deeper look at this game, Bandai Namco has you covered with plenty more trailers and footage. There was a recent batch of screenshots hyping up various additions from the Naruto universe. You could also take a look at some gameplay footage showing off the deep character creator.
