Where to find the Reaper Cloth in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

How to get more Digger Drills in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

Getting a full Pokédex can be a lot of work. A bunch of games in this franchise love to lock evolutions behind extra work. For some evolutions in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, you need to grab and use certain items. There are some quite hard to find ones as well. The ability to know where to look to find these items is a huge help. One of these is the Reaper cloth in Diamond and Shining Pearl. Here’s where to find Reaper Cloth in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.

Where to find the Reaper Cloth

The Reaper Cloth is one of the special items that you need, and it’s used as a held item on a Dusclops to evolve into a Dusknoir. Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl places the Reaper Cloth around Route 229, in a very specific spot. Head to the Resort area and use the southern entrance to enter Route 229.

When you go past the two Ace Trainers, head to the right. You’re looking for the Cut tree that’s hiding an item behind it partway into the zone. If you’ve been playing the game for a long time, you recognize the Cut tree when you see it. If not, it’s the rather skinny tree that stands out among the larger trees around it. You need the HM Cut to get it, obviously.

Aside from evolutions, there’s a lot of things you can do to complete the Dex. Changing a Pokémon’s Nature is one of many ways you can breed for success in this game. And if you’re hunting Shinies, that’s a lot of extra work too. If you’re a shiny hunter, there’s a good chance you are using something like the Masuda method to get it done. That means you probably have a lot of excess monsters in your boxes. If you want to make management of your teams easier, get that Box Link.
