Find the Icerind Hatchet in Elden Ring

Elden Ring

Elden Ring has some powerful and dangerous bosses. You also need to do a ton of exploration of its open world. The amount of hidden stuff in this game is kind of impressive. Players will not only have to tackle an army of bosses and undead, but there are many hidden items to find. As you get your hands on more items and improve your builds, there’s a lot more potential to uncover. You can uncover powerful Talismans and other items to unlock mysterious abilities.

There are also a massive trove of weapons scattered around the map to find. One of these is the chilly Icerind Hatchet. The Icerind Hatchet is an Axe in Elden Ring that can chop most enemies to frozen bits. The Icerind Hatchet scales primarily with Strength and Dexterity and is a good Weapon for inflicting frost against enemies. This weapon also has the Hoarfrost Stomp ability, a very cool cold-based attack.

To find the Icerind Hatchet in Elden Ring, you need to head over to the Temple Quarter in Liurnia of the Lakes. To obtain this weapon, you will first need to travel to the Liurnia region. Of course, you can do this the correct way, or you can skip Stormveil and head straight to your destination.

You need to head into the Temple Quarter and lok for the right chest. There’s a broken bridge in Stormveil that you need to get past. From the broken bridge, jump onto the cliffside and follow it. It will lead to the Site of Grace behind the region exit location. This is in the same area where you fight Godrick earlier in the game. The chest you’re after can be found inside one of the ruined buildings. You will need to do some jumping around to get to the ledge where the chest is.

Figure out how to level up your character once you’re in the game. From there, you might want to learn how to upgrade gear, or maybe how to find powerful weapons, like the Meteorite Staff. Or perhaps you’re a melee player and want that shiny new Rivers of Blood katana to hack away with? There are also tons of crafting jobs to be done, like making multiple types of arrows. And if you’re pursuing ranged upgrades, the Arrow’s Reach Talisman might be a great get.
