Final Fantasy XV Multiplayer: Comrades launches in December

FINAL FANTASY XV MULTIPLAYER: COMRADES Trailer

Square Enix held a recent livestream showcasing their various plans for Final Fantasy XV going into 2019, and fans are both excited and disappointed over the different announcements.

First we heard about the cancellation of three of the four DLC episodes due in 2019 with the cancellation of Episodes Noctis, Aranea, Lunafreya, leaving behind only Episode Ardyn. The stoppage was explained as a “directional change” following the departure of Tabata from the company.

And now we know more about the standalone version of Final Fantasy XV Multiplayer: Comrades. Which is due out on December 12 for PS4 and Xbox One. The company released a trailer for the new version of the multiplayer game, which can be seen down below.

In terms of content, Final Fantasy XV Multiplayer: Comrades will include 10 new bosses, costumes, and weapons. When this new iteration releases, some things are going to change for Final Fantasy XV. The main base game will see the multiplayer mode disabled and removed, with a price drop to $14.99 USD to compensate.
