Final Fantasy VII Remake trailer shows Red XIII and more

Final Fantasy VII Remake Hollow Trailer

Square Enix just dropped a new trailer for their big RPG, Final Fantasy VII Remake. With the release coming for Final Fantasy VII Remake, fans want to see more. Final Fantasy VII Remake releases on April 10, 2020, and the first release will be exclusive to the PS4 for some time. The focus of this new trailer is a theme song for the game called “Hollow,”  which is born of the work between composer Nobuo Uematsu, Kazushige Nojima, and singer Yosh from Survive Said The Prophet. The trailer also shows off some new gameplay and story details.

Final Fantasy VII Remake was infamously delayed, angering many fans who have literally been waiting years to see a new version of the classic RPG released. Of course, this has given Square Enix time to further polish the game, or rather the first part of the multi-game series. That’s right, Final Fantasy VII Remake will be a series of multiple games.

Check out the trailer for the game down below. As to what the trailer contains, it’s simple, we’re getting more insight into the city of Midgar and the misadventures of AVALANCHE. One of the more hilarious and memorable scenes is Cloud ending up in a strange cross-dressing gag. Obviously, the scene in the original game is cringe-inducing and has a blatant mix of misogyny and homoeroticism. The entire Honey Bee Inn segment as it was originally intended comes across as one giant joke and it’s against basically everyone.

The developer has decided to make some changes to the tone of the scene overall. “The Honey Bee Inn cross-dressing event is still in,” Nomura told Famitsu. “We’ve made it more modern. If we made the facility as we did in the original game, the physical unease would be staggering, so that was no good.”
