Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade PC system requirements

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade system requirements

The continued adventures of Cloud, Yuffie, Aerith and co. are finally coming this year. Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade is due this month on PC, on Thursday, Dec. 16. With that comes the continuation of the story past the fall of Midgar’s plate sections in the first part of this multi-game series. And that means PC gamers are tweaking for more. Square Enix has announced the Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade system requirements via Twitter. Along with that, it looks like we’re getting another EGS exclusive here ladies, gents, and fine people. Here’s what we know about the Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade system requirements.

Final Fantasy VII Remake PC will actually be quite modest in terms of system requirements. The game can run on pretty modest hardware. The one downside is that massive 100 GB install size. If your SSD is running out of space, it might be time for an upgrade. Make sure you don’t cheap out though, DRAM-less SSDs might be cheaper, but offer far worse performance.

So you will need a rather modern machine to make the game run really well. The GPU market will likely be completely tapped out for the foreseeable future, so it’s good if you have something along the lines of an RX 5700 or 20-series Nvidia GPU. As long as its a card meant for 1080p gaming from the last 2-3 years, you should be fine.

CPU markets are another area where the latest and greatest is hard to come by. The CPU side is a lot more forgiving. Though a solid quad-core is all but required, even dated hardware can at least run the game. If you’re on an extreme budget and stock on an overclocked FX-era AMD chip, you can at least get playable framerates at 1080p. It won’t be super fancy or running at 60 FPS. For that, you need to head up to the likes of a more modern CPU, say from the last four years or so from Intel. AMD’s side of things is mostly restricted to second-gen Ryzen or later for a high-quality visual experience.
