Final Fantasy 8 Remastered Announced

Final Fantasy 8 Remastered Officially Confirmed

After all  of the exciting news about the Final Fantasy 7 Remake happening in 2020, a lot of people expected Sony and Square Enix to announced more modernized remakes of the classics in the franchise. And with tons of hype abounding across the internet, now during E3 2019 was the best time to announce a new project, so that’s exactly what happened. But in this case, most people already knew this was coming thanks to a leak of the project a while back.

The remake of Final Fantasy 8 will bring back the 20 year legacy of Squall to a modern audience, and it’s actually coming out sooner than the remake of the previous title in the franchise. This suggests that Final Fantasy 8‘s remake will be a bit simpler compared to the other project, which means it will likely be an HD upgrade of the original game with some minor tweaks for usability, and maybe some bug fixes. And while it’s not a ground up remake, it’s still great to see another great game getting a breath of new life.
