Publisher Iceberg Interactive and developer LGM Games have released one last piece of paid DLC for Starpoint Gemini: Warlords. The Endpoint DLC costs $6.99 and is available now on Steam and GOG. And to make the prospect of buying and excellent space sim even sweeter, the developers have launched a weekend sale that will see Starpoint Gemini: Warlords and it’s various DLC discounted anywhere from 50 to 85 percent off.
The story is the primary focus in Starpoint Gemini: Warlords Endpoint. Players are placed at the head of the struggling Gemini Protectorate, who have been pushed back in constant wars to only a sliver of territory. It’s up to you to restore this faction to power through any means necessary.
It’s been a few years since Solari Concord successfully established a foothold in Gemini. And they haven’t stopped there; a combination of rising military strength and persuasive diplomacy allowed them to become the leading power in Gemini. After such a long turmoil, most factions got exhausted and were eager to side with anyone strong enough to provide some sort of stability.
Gemini Protectorate, successor to legendary Gemini League is cornered and controls only small region of space and another cut off enclave while Concord reaches its borders.

The DLC will also add eight new ship designs that each fill a unique role for either combat or trading and industry. This piece of DLC also adds more plotlines to the expansive open-world story. One of the strengths of Starpoint Gemini: Warlords is it’s narrative-driven but player-focused structure, so this is a nice treat. According to the press release, this DLC adds more replayability than ever before due to the branching story paths it develops, so that’s cool.
Other aspects of the game are being tweaked as well with this release. The Planetary Assault feature is being expanded. This DLC will allow players to capture all enemy territory belonging to a faction once that faction’s last planet has been occupied.

Cycle of Warfare expanded multiple aspects of the game’s conquest systems to make taking out opponents and ruling the conquered territory more challenging and engaging.
