Farming Simulator 22 System Requirements

Farming Simulator 22

Farming Simulator 22 has blown onto the scene. As the developer describes it “Farming Simulator 22 brings a multitude of new gameplay features and offers more content and player freedom than ever before, including new ground working features like mulching or stone picking, an improved build-mode adding greenhouses and beehives, as well as a new character creator to bring your own, individual farmer to life.” All this adds a bunch of performance overhead to the new sequel. So you might want to learn the Farming Simulator 22 system requirements to see if you are able to head out into the farming lands beyond.

Farming Simulator 22 Minimum System Requirements

So here are the Farming Simulator 22 system requirements. Check them out to see if your rig can handle it. From what we’ve seen of the settings listed, you’re expecting low settings at 40-50 FPS with the bare minimum. You will need an upgrade to get beyond that. A few things you can probably do better with is having more VRAM and RAM. This extra memory will help speed up the drawing and shading of objects.

The biggest issue with the Farming Simulator 22 system requirements is that the game can run at 60 FPS, but on low settings. Tests with even more modern GPUs and CPUs have shown that  60 FPS on low graphics is playable, but it’s quite ugly. For what it is, Farming Simulator 22  has pretty incredible graphics with shadows and effects tuned on.

Farming Simulator 22 Recommended System Requirements

Even a meager upgrade on the GPU side will get you up to Medium settings at playable FPS. Jumping up to something like a 1060, though it’s hard in 2021, you can get a much better experience. The one thing to remember with this game is that as your farm grows, things will slow down a lot. The more machines and crops you have, the more lower-end parts will chug.

Even a first-gen Ryzen or similar Intel offering is great for this game. Anyone looking to turn on anti-aliasing, you will want something beefier. And that goes double for GPUs. The more post-processing effects you throw on, the more GPU muscle you will need. Also, get an SSD to help with load times. You might be surprised how much Farming Sim 22 is helped by faster storage.
