Far Cry 6 Release Date Leaked

Far Cry 6 is a name that many had not expected to hear again in 2020. The game was originally delayed earlier in 2020, and now we have an idea of when the sequel drops. The new game takes players to the setting of the tropical island of Yara, with a new villain. The FPS gameplay and guerilla war tactics are back, but with an entirely new and strangely familiar evil at the helm of it all.

The big bad guy this time is “El Presidente” Antón Castillo (portrayed by Giancarlo Esposito of Breaking Bad fame) and his son Deigo. The player takes the role of guerilla fighter Dani Rojas, who is trying to fight back against the terrifying duo.

The game is due to launch on Amazon Luna, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Stadia. Far Cry 6 is expected to be released on May 25th, 2021. More specifically May 25th at 8:00PM. While no time zone is specified, it’s likely that the unlock time will be regional, so set your clocks.

Until the official announcement of the confirmation though, the leak is all we have to go on.  The game has still apparently not been read yet, as it’s still incomplete. When the game “goes gold” we should get a better idea of what we’re in for. The Ubisoft media presence has so far been quiet about the leak, and we shouldn’t expect more from this game for a while.
