Fallout 76’s live-action TV spot sells open world

Fallout 76 TV Spot

Fallout 76 is one of those games that straddles the line between pleasing fans and appealing to a more general gaming audience. But the latest trailer for the open-world multiplayer game from Bethesda plants itself firmly on campy and fan-pleasing side of things. Said trailer puts the song “Wouldn’t It Be Nice” by the Beach Boys to surprisingly good use as it sets the darkly comedic tone for players.

We see several teases of different enemies like Deathclaws and other mutants, as well as some robotic bad guys. The trailer also includes some iconic weapons if you’re eagle-eyed enough to spot them. The blasted hills of West Virginia are going to be alight with laser fire and nukes in Fallout 76, and this newest trailer wants to make sure you understand that it’s all fun and games. So go and grab some friends and strap into your power armour, it’s time for some irradiated good times.

If you want to learn more about the game, check out the original announcement, as well as the video on settlement building. There’s also the most recent trailer that detailed the social elements of the game. There’s even a cool Xbox One console bundle coming for Fallout 76.

Fallout 76 is due out next month on November 14 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. You should also check out the new TV trailer down below.
