Fallout 76 Update 20 Patch Notes

Fallout 76 Season 1 Details

The newest patch for Fallout 76 is out this week. The big new update shuffles around a bunch of older content and also brings in some new stuff. There are the first of the 10-week Seasons live this week. The patch also has the new Public Teams enabled to allow players to join up together. Fallout 76 Update 20 will be a pretty big patch too, it will have anywhere from 4 GB on PC to 11 GB on consoles. It’s a free update for everyone who already owns Fallout 76.

As for other content, Fallout 76 Update 20 has other stuff as well affecting gameplay. S.C.O.R.E., a new currency now used to progress through the current Season, and each following season as well. Each time players grab a level in the season, they will unlock a unique reward. There are 100 levels in total. Each week for 10 weeks we will get a new set of challenges.

There is of course the new Public Teams feature as well. Players in these Teams will get buffs applied to the entire group, but individual perks will be disabled. The overall point here is to make the game easier to play in a group while not making it too easy. The challenge lies in the idea of having to contend with the competition for loot and resources from other player groups. It sort of becomes a race.
