Bethesda is releasing tons of new info for Fallout 76 today. First up is the brand new cinematic intro for the game which was just released.

As fans of the Fallout franchise would expect, the iconic line “War. War never changes,” makes its appearance in Fallout 76 as well. So we get to kick off our adventure into the wastelands of Virginia. The trailer also sets up some narrative context so people understand the hellish world they’ve just dropped into.

And it’s not just a cool new intro that gamers got from Bethesda today. the company also announced the details for the upcoming beta periods for Fallout 76.

The beta will begin on October 23 for Xbox One players and the following week on October 30 for those on PS4 and PC. Beta periods are not constant though, as Bethesda will be taking down servers between live testing sessions to do maintenance and analyze issues. As for how long these sessions will last, Bethesda said the following:

On any given day the game might be up for anywhere between four to eight hours. Focusing as many players as we can into these windows is our prime objective. Then we’ll fix what we need to fix and do it again and again from the start of B.E.T.A. until a few days before launch. We’ll give you as much heads up as possible because we need you to log in during these times and play the game.

You do need to pre-order the game to get access to these beta periods, so you better do that soon. Head over to Amazon right now to reserve your own copy.

If you want to learn more about the game, check out the original announcement, as well as the video on settlement building. If you’re more destruction-focused, there’s even a trailer on using nukes. A beta is also coming next month. There’s also the most recent trailer that detailed the social elements of the game. There’s even a cool Xbox One console bundle coming for Fallout 76.

You can check out the cinematic intro video down below. Fallout 76 will launch on November 14 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
