F1 2019 patch 1.07 adds support for NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FidelityFX

Codemasters announce F1 2019

F1 2019, the newest hefty simulation in the racing games genre from Codemasters, has a new patch, and it’s offering PC gamers plenty of exciting new things.

The patch is mostly focused on a couple of key areas, and it’s a welcome set of changes. For one thing, AMD FidelityFX graphical improvements and Nivdia’s DLSS tech are both now enabled within the racing title. These two options now allow gamers to enable new anti-aliasing options that should offer both optimized performance and better graphical fidelity. The inclusion of DLSS can sllow RTX2080 and RTX2070 owners to squeeze a bit more performance out of their rigs.

A handful of gameplay improvements have been pushed out as well. For one thing, AI improvements should make races a little more challenging. There’s adjustments to tire life for example. Some map tweaks, like a new pitlane layout, have also been put into the game.

And in terms of general fixes and improvements, there’s fairly little in version 1.07. The major tweak is that GPU CPU and memory usage has been optimized. This is only a minor tweak, but it should help out a bit on lower-end rigs. If you’re curious whether your gaming PC is up to snuff, check out the F1 2019 system requirements. Also, it’s advised to update your drivers for both Nvidia and AMD, as both manufacturers have pushed driver updates that should improve performance.
